Are transportation-related spends still eligible for reward points?

Yes, with limits. From February 1, 2026:

• Rubyx, Sapphiro, Emeralde, and select premium cards will earn reward points on transportation MCCs (4111, 4112, 4784, 4131) up to ₹20,000 per month.
• Platinum, Coral, HPCL, Manchester United, CSK, Expressions, Parakram, and related variants will earn reward points up to ₹10,000 per month (points vary by MCC).

Is there any update on insurance spend rewards?

Yes. From February 1, 2026, ICICI Bank HPCL Super Saver Credit Card users will earn reward points on insurance spends up to ₹40,000 at the current earn rate (MCC: 5960, 6300, 6381, 6399).
